Ramune!!

A delicious japanese soda. There are tons of flavors of these guys like, peach, leche and well..i dont even know but the melon one is totally abso-freaking-lutely great!

What also makes this soda so cool is the process by which you open the bottle. They closed of the opening with a little ball kind of shoved there, sealing it like a tomb. How do you open it, you ask? It includes this tiny piece of plastic. What a cork screw does for wine bottles, this plastic thing does for ramune but instead of taking out the ball you push it in.

Well, a skinny one that is. I'm reading "Skinny Bitch" by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin.
I must say these girls talk in a language only sailors could understand (if you know what I mean) but they get to the core of becoming healthy and well, pardon my french, a skinny bitch!

They exploit the lies and schemes of governmental agencies and food corporations. They get down to the nitty-gritty and are straight forward. They are also pretty funny and that's a plus!

What a beautiful morning!

AHHHH!!!

The weather is so awesome today. Its hot, yes. But bearable hot cause there is a smigen of coolness underlying the heat. So nice.

My mom and I cleaned our hummingbird cleaner this morning. It was looking unappetizingly filthy so we cleaned it crystal-clear and made more sugary goodness for them to enjoy.

These little guys must be keeping watch on that feeder cause the second I placed it on our loyal ash tree limb, those little suckers came speeding out of the tree to taste the fresh sweet nectar of sugar cane and agua.

I could waste away hours watching them.

Not only have we been getting pretty humming birds, with their gorgeous shining chest plates of red and purple but larger birds that are black and yellow and are Oh so pretty. I have no idea what kind of birds they are but their really cute.

I heart birds. :)

Smoldering

Its been so gosh darned hot here in So Cal. Its been over 100 degrees the past couple of days and left me immobilized. I sit around like a lump of melting being not knowing what to do with myself. Paying for AC these days is expensive and so my family has decided not to use it to help decrease bill payment. Because of our selflessness, we are left in a house that reaches over 90 degrees and about 88 at night with fans and all. And for some reason my room likes to be the hottest in the house so it makes sleep almost impossible- even with a fan and nothing but a sheet on my bed.

Lovingly, today's temperature has been nice. It got to 90 something today which is awesome and there's a wonderful refreshing cool breeze. I got to sleep in today!! nice!

Car issues:

I have them

car? 1999 Suburban

problem? No AC, Crapped-out engine and transmission and it failed the smog test

result? either I find a car and money to buy it with or its public transportation for me next semester!!

Im not really happy about this situation as you can imagine but I must go with the flow and hope for the best. God help me!

Saw 'Arry tonight.

This movie was absolutely amazing. Loved the humerous snippets, crazy love triangles and the jumpy scenes. Very accurate to the book and I simply can't wait till they come out with the last of the series done in two parts!
